City of Mobile receives $2M grant from Baldwin Co to increase air pollution in hopes for cooler looking sunsets.

 




Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced Tuesday that the Eastern Shore Board of Tourism offered a grant in the sum of 2 million dollars to help the city produce more air pollution. The hope is that the increased pollution with provide more psychedelic sunsets for tourists to photograph, and one day maybe even draw more crowds than Aurora Borealis.  Mayor Stimpson addressed a small crowd today and shocased a $2M pile of tires the city has already purchased and plans to burn somewhere in Tillman's Corner.
