City Council set to vote for new Red Light District

The Fairhope City Council has postponed the vote to turn the city's downtown area into a licensed Red Light District until several more weeks away. There was no reason given for the postponement decision, but people are saying that there are still "kinks" to work out. Many cities across the globe have already installed Red Light Districts with positive changes shown for city cash flow and tourism. The change can see Fairhope light up De la Mare street with fancy red lights letting late night tourist and locals know that they are "open for business". Let your City Council know if you oppose or agree with the possible change before they vote in January.
