In an unusual turn of events, Hangout Festival has now announced plans to offer a much cheaper ticket level at only $50 per person. The new "Instagram Day Pass" will let ticket holders in to the festival for 15 minutes to allow a "Selfie" photo, which can then be uploaded to your social media platform of choice. The announcement came as a delightful surprise to adults who don't really care to spend the weekend in the blazing sun surrounded by 17 year old's while listening to inaudible live music, but still want to look cool on Facebook. Teenagers who could not afford the regular tickets were also happy about the announcement and scooped up thousands of tickets already for the festival. Some speculators believe this might end in disaster for the Festival in coming years though, as the entire Hangout attendance might only purchase the Instagram passes and forego the music altogether.
